  1. Install the GTCO/CalComp TabletWorks CD onto your computer.  If you do not have the CD, the drivers can be downloaded from www.GTCO.com.
  2. Connect your GTCO/CalComp digitizer to the computer using the USB cable.
  3. Click on the TabletWorks icon.  It is usually on the system tray at the bottom right-hand side of your computer screen, and looks similar to:

  4. This will maximize the TabletWorks program.  Configure it similarly to the illustration below by ensuring that a check mark is placed below “Enable” and “TabCon”, but NOT below “Mouse” or “WinTab”.  Click on the “Apply” button if necessary, then click on “OK” to minimize the TabletWorks window.

  5. Install the decDigital digitizing software.
  6. Launch the decDigital program.  If the program is already permanently registered, the digitizer is ready to use.
  7. If the software is DEMO software or newly-installed software that does not yet have a permanent activation code, the digitizer must be activated each time the software is launched. Open the UTILITIES / TEST DIGITIZER window and click on the CONNECT TO TABLET button.  See the illustration below.
